There is no Alabama Football today but there are games of interest to Alabama Crimson Tide fans. Seven games are listed below, along with the betting lines according to WynnBET.

All times listed are C.S.T.

Games of interest to Alabama football fans

Michigan at Michigan State – 11:00 AM

According to AP Poll rankings, the Wolverines are No. 6 and the Spartans are No. 8. Michigan is favored by four points. Neither team gets a Playoff lock with a win. Both have to play Ohio State later in the season, but the team that becomes 7-1 will be a Playoff longshot. For Tide fans, since one of these teams might become a Playoff opponent, checking them out makes sense.

Miami at Pitt – 11:00 AM

The Panthers are favored by 10 points over the Canes. A Miami upset would give the Crimson Tide resume a slight boost from the Canes reaching 4-4 on the season.

Georgia vs. Florida – 2:30 PM

The Bulldogs are favored by 14.5 points. It could be worse if the Gators’ offense struggles against the Georgia defense. The Gators will likely become a four-loss team, which will not be good for the Alabama Crimson Tide resume.

Kentucky at Mississippi State – 6:00 PM

Some Alabama football fans might prefer to root for the Wildcats. A win by the Bulldogs would be a small benefit to the Crimson Tide resume. The Wildcats are favored by just a single point.

Ole Miss at Auburn – 6:00 PM

Auburn is a 2.5 point favorite. Technically, both teams are still in contention to win the SEC West. Since the SEC West division championship becomes assured for the Tide if (when) it wins out, worrying about the division is not an issue. An Ole Miss win, and at least, holding on to the Rebels No. 10 ranking would do the most for the Crimson Tide. Not to mention, watching Auburn lose in Auburn is such a joy.

North Carolina at Notre Dame – 6:30 PM

Frankly, this game matters little, if any. Should the disappointing 4-3 Tar Heels upset the Irish, it would damage the Playoff claim of the Cincinnati Bearcats. The Fighting Irish are a 3.5 point favorite.

Alabama Football should not need help

The Alabama Football resume probably does not need an enhancement from the outcome of any of these games. But, it can never be known what crazy directions a college football season will take.

One more game worth some attention is Missouri at Vanderbilt at 2:00 PM. Not only are the two teams trying to not be last in the SEC East, but both teams are also trying to avoid going winless in the SEC. Saturday is the best chance for a win for the Dores and the Tigers.
