Only days after Alabama Basketball landed two commitments in five-star SF Brandon Miller and four-star PF Noah Clowney, the Crimson Tide have added yet another commitment to their Top 10 nationally ranked class.

Nick Pringle commits to Alabama Basketball

The Crimson Tide have landed a commitment from power forward Nick Pringle, the No. 2 overall rated JUCO player in the country by 247Sports. Rated as a three-star prospect, Pringle is also rated as the top JUCO power forward in the country.

A 6’9 power forward from Dodge City Community College in Dodge City, KS, Pringle recently released a Top 5 list on Wednesday that included Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss, West Virginia, and Wichita State. Pringle will have three years of eligibility remaining.

A native of Seabrook, SC, Pringle played his high school basketball at Whale Branch (SC) before spending his freshman season a year ago at Wofford. Appearing in 15 games during the 2020-21 campaign with the Terriers, Pringle averaged 2 PPG and 2.1 RPG on 59.1% shooting from the field.

Despite not the biggest sample-size at Wofford, Pringle is an impressive athlete for his position who excels in the paint due to his athleticism. A strong rebounder, Pringle has the ability to be a force on the offensive and defensive glass, while also a strong interior defensive presence who can then run the floor and finish on the offensive end.

With the addition of Pringle, the Crimson Tide only add to what is already a Top 10 overall class in the country, as well as one of the Top 3 in the SEC. Looking ahead as well, Alabama Basketball is also a finalist for five-star PF and the nation’s top power forward Jarace Walker (IMG Academy, FL) who is set to announce his decision later tonight between either the Crimson Tide, Auburn, or Houston.
