Another Alabama Crimson Tide game week calls for another edition of Alabama Football Bold Predictions.

Last week’s results from the Tennessee game were four correct and three wrong.

That takes the Bold Prediction record after eight games to 30 correct and 24 wrong.

  • Wrong – The prediction was the Crimson Tide defense would get either five sacks or a total of six tackles for a loss against the Tennessee Vols. The Tide defense came close on the TFLs but only totaled five.
  • Correct and Correct – The prediction was with Hendon Hooker as the Tennessee QB, the Vols would not match their run of five games rushing for more than 200 yards. The Tide defense held the Vols to 65 yards on the ground. In addition, it was predicted the total offensive production for Tennessee would be less than 400 yards. It was 347 yards.
  • Wrong – The prediction was Bryce Young would pass for 400 or more yards. Young threw for 371 yards.
  • Correct – The prediction was Alabama Football would surpass its season scoring average of 45 points per game. The Crimson Tide scored 52 points on the Vols.
  • Correct – The prediction was Daniel Wright would get a second straight start at safety. Wright did start, but DeMarcco Hellams got more snaps during the game than Wright.
  • Wrong – The prediction was at least a combined six receptions from Traeshon Holden and JoJo Earle. Earle had no catches and Traeshon Holden had two receptions.
