Alabama football’s report card vs. Arkansas

Inside Linebackers: A-

You don’t see the inside linebackers doing the same things they used to for Alabama football. They fly around the field in coverage and pressure. With Christian Harris and Henry To’o To’o starting, the Tide have one of the better linebacker duos in recent memory.

There have been some mental errors in the past, but this duo is improving as the season progresses. With To’o To’o being a transfer, it is clear that he is becoming more comfortable in Alabama football’s defense. He played in a similar scheme in Tennessee, but he is aware of his role.

Harris has gotten stronger as his collegiate career has continued, and he’s a monster in the middle of the field. He is great in coverage as To’o To’o attacks the quarterback.

Will Anderson is the best player in college football. This has been true all year, but he keeps proving himself. He got another key sack this week, but his 3.5 tackles for loss set his performance apart. Coming off the edge, he still was able to stop the running back from gaining anything repeatedly.

Dallas Turner needs more credit as a pass rusher. He has stepped up despite being OLB4 at best to start the year. He is now a menace in his own way, and he keeps pressuring quarterbacks. This tandem is elite, and adding Drew Sanders to the mix makes it even better.

It was hard to see the Tide lose Chris Allen earlier this year, but the depth has stepped up for Alabama. They are impacting every facet of the game.
