Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Georgia Bulldogs Bold Prediction No. 1
How well the Georgia Bulldogs can slow the Alabama Football passing attack is one of the biggest keys to the game. It is anticipated, Bill O-Brien, at Nick Saban’s direction, will dial up, tempo, and more so than the past 12 games, the Tide will be a pass-first team.
The result will be a bunch of passing yards for the Crimson Tide, while not matching its regular-season average of 13.58 yards-per-completion. In Georgia’s 12 games, opponents passing success rate has been just 8.85 yards-per-completion. On Saturday, neither team will match its average but the Tide offense will come closer than the Georgia defense.
SEC Championship Game Bold Prediction No. 2
The Crimson Tide is No. 4 and Georgia is No. 5 among FBS teams in passing efficiency. Neither team will be as effective on Saturday. The main reason the Bulldogs will have a dip in efficiency will be frequent pressure on Stetson Bennett. The Alabama Football defense will tally a combined total of nine quarterback hurries and sacks.
