Alabama Football Open Doors
How many spots are available? It could be as few as five or as many as seven to ten, presuming there could be attrition from flips and possible grades issues.
Taking the number as 10, below are the guys who will find an open door to Tuscaloosa. No predictions are included but Alabama Football is believed to be in a strong position with all of them.
- Isaiah Bond – Wide Receiver; 4-Star; rated as the No.2 Athlete and the No. 86 player overall. Bond is listed first because he is likely to be the next commit with an announcement Tuesday night.
- Earl Little Jr. – Cornerback; 4-Star; rated as the No. 14 CB and No. 104 overall
- Domani Jackson – Cornerback; 5-Star; rated as the No. 2 CB and the No. 4 player overall. Lincoln Riley will try hard to pull Jackson back to the Trojans. The California, Mater Dei High School player was a USC commit, but many recruiting experts believe the Tide leads for Jackson.
- Marvin Jones Jr. – Linebacker, Edge; 4-Star; rated as the No. 3 Edge Rusher and No. 37 player overall. Alabama is believed to be in a strong position with Jones, with Georgia in the mix. The south Florida player will be hearing a lot from the new Miami coach, Mario Cristobal.
- Shemar James – Linebacker; 4-Star; rated as the No. 7 LB and the No. 71 player overall. As the Tide has shown in recent seasons, a team can never have too many linebackers.
- Earnest Greene – Offensive Lineman; 4-Star; rated as the No. 2 interior offensive lineman and the No. 46 player overall. There is tough competition for Greene from Georgia, Ohio State and USC. Optimism coming from Alabama football insiders is trending up.
