WR Shazz Preston

Alabama brings in yet another phenomenal wide receiver class in 2022 with the highest-rated of the group being four-star Shazz Preston from St. James High School in St. James, LA. Rated as the No. 3 wide receiver in the country, Preston is also rated as the No. 43 overall player nationally, as well as the No. 4 player in the state of Louisiana.

A multi-sport athlete, Preston is coming off a phenomenal three-year high school career in which he hauled in a combined 186 passes for 2,733 yards and 29 touchdowns, which includes 850 yards and 11 scores as a senior. While not an early enrollee, Preston should see time in 2022.

WR Isaiah Bond

Not far behind Preston is four-star Isaiah Bond, a two-way standout from Buford High School in Buford, GA. Rated as an ATH, Bond is rated as the No. 2 ATH in the country, as well as the No. 86 player nationally and the No. 8 player in the state of Georgia.

Also a track star with the Wolves who has been clocked with a 10.48 100, Bond saw time on both sides of the ball in high school for one of the top overall teams in the state of Georgia. One of the fastest players in the country, the former Florida commit is not an early enrollee, but should see time next season.

WR Kendrick Law

The most recent commit in Alabama’s 2022 class came last Friday when Kendrick Law, a four-star ATH from Captain Shreve High School in Shreveport, LA, signed with the Crimson Tide. Similar to Bond previously, Law is rated as a four-star ATH (No. 3 in the country), as well as the No. 87 player nationally and No. 6 player in the state of Louisiana.

Law is also a track star as one of the fastest players in the country (also clocked at 10.48 100), and has seen time in multiple different roles throughout his high school career, even accounting for 963 yards and nine total touchdowns in 2021. While currently unknown when he will enroll in Tuscaloosa, Law could see time in multiple different roles with the Crimson Tide in 2022 as an electric playmaker with the ball.

WR Aaron Anderson

The third wide receiver commit in the 2022 class to come from the state of Louisiana is Aaron Anderson, a four-star from Edna Karr High School in New Orleans, LA. Rated as the No. 96 overall player in the country, Anderson is also rated as the No. 14 wide receiver nationally, as well as the No. 8 player in the state of Louisiana.

A two-sport athlete, Anderson is not only a phenomenal receiver who hauled in 36 passes for 678 yards and eight touchdowns as a junior in 2020, but is also one of the top overall kick and punt returners in the country. A former LSU commit, Anderson is an early enrollee.

WR Kobe Prentice

Rounding out Alabama’s deep wide receiver class is four-star Kobe Prentice, an in-state product from Calera High School in Calera, AL. The No. 8 overall player in the state of Alabama, Prentice is also rated as the No. 147 overall player nationally, as well as the No. 24 wide receiver in the country.

Also a track star in high school, Prentice posted a strong 2020 season a year ago where he added 711 yards and nine touchdowns, and backed that up in 2021 where he was named Class 6A First-Team All-State. Prentice is not an early enrollee.

TE Amari Niblack

The Crimson Tide landed two talented tight ends in the 2022 class with the first being four-star Amari Niblack from Lakewood High School in Clearwater, FL. Rated as the No. 7 ATH nationally, Niblack is also rated as the No. 22 player in the state of Florida, as well as the No. 173 player nationally.

A multi-sport athlete, Niblack is a player who has seen time in multiple different roles in high school, and is coming off an impressive senior season where he caught 60 passes for 939 yards and 10 touchdowns. An early enrollee, Niblack may be one of the more intriguing players to watch from this group entering the 2022 season.

TE Elijah Brown

The other tight end, commit in Alabama’s 2022 class is four-star Elijah Brown from Wayne High School in Dayton, OH. The No. 13 tight end nationally, Brown is also rated as the No. 11 player in the state of Ohio, as well as the No. 301 overall player in the country.

Brown is a multi-sport athlete at 6’5″, and is a player who has the ability to line up anywhere on the field at the tight end position. An early enrollee, Brown could see time early-on next season.
