Alabama Game Today: Alabama vs. Missouri Line, Prediction, Odds, TV Channel & Live Stream for Basketball Game Jan. 8
By Ronald Evans
Alabama Basketball returns to action Saturday afternoon in an SEC road match against the Missouri Tigers.
The teams met once last season with Alabama losing on the road by three points, 68-65. Missouri ranked No. 18 before the game, had a nosedive for the rest of the season, losing seven of their last 10 games. They are yet to recover. After opening this season winning three of four games, the Tigers have lost six of their last nine games. More than a couple of the losses have been embarrassing defeats.
The Tigers had a game against Mississippi State postponed earlier this week. Because of COVID complications, they could not field the minimum number of players required by the SEC. Head Coach, Cuonzo Martin tested positive for COVID and could not coach in the Tigers last game; a loss to Kentucky. The Tigers will not be a full strength against the Crimson Tide.
Missouri is 6-7 on the season and is ranked No. 235 in the NCAA NET rankings. The Crimson Tide, after beating Florida moved up to a No. 18 NET ranking.
Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Missouri: Spread, Over/Under

Alabama vs. Missouri Prediction Today
It is possible the Crimson Tide could be a little flat after its impressive second half in Gainesville. Hopefully, that will not be the case, but even if it is, Nate Oats will correct the problem as the game goes on.
Missouri’s basketball program is in disarray and even stalwart fans are calling for a coaching change. Cuonzo Martin knows how to coach, but maybe its is a bad fit.
Ken Pomeroy values the teams more highly than their NET ranking. KenPom has the Crimson Tide at No. 16 and the Missouri Tigers at No. 161. A road win against a good team is a challenge for Nate Oats’ team
The prediction is Alabama Crimson Tide 80 – Missouri Tigers 69
