Can Stetson Bennett IV lead Georgia over Alabama? No, he cannot. Bennett will need a Stephen Garcia/Zach Calzada-type game to defeat the Crimson Tide. I do not see him having as great a game as he had against Michigan. In the previous two games he has faced Alabama, he struggled. I see the same happening Monday night. The offensive line holds up enough for Bryce to throw four touchdowns.

Alabama overcomes adversity and wins a close one. The Tide offense won’t be as explosive, but will bring a balanced approach and sustain drives.

I have been on the “this is the year for UGA” train all year … prior to Atlanta. I understand the Dawgs have the revenge factor and a finally-healthy squad, but until Kirby actually beats the old man, I’m not picking against Alabama.

The Tide has the best QB, edge rusher, receiver, left tackle, and secondary between the two teams and that’s what I am banking on putting the good guys over the top.
