Alabama Football National Championship Game Bold Predictions

National Championship Bold Prediction No. 1

Not many national, college football pundits are picking the Crimson Tide to win straight up. A rough review shows the Georgia Bulldogs favored in about 65 percent of the picks. Add the spread points as a factor, and the number drops to about 50 percent.

Bold Prediction No. 1 is actually not so bold. Picking against a Nick Saban-coached Alabama football team in a National Championship Game is foolishness. The Bulldogs take a first-half lead, but the Crimson Tide wins straight up.

National Championship Bold Prediction No. 2

The Georgia defense will get more pressure on Bryce Young than they did in the SEC Championship Game, including a couple of sacks. The increased pressure will slow, but not stop the Crimson Tide offense. The Bulldogs will regret calling Bryce The Gingerbread Man. They will have trouble catching him when he runs, or when avoids them in the pocket. Young will pass for over 350 yards.

Bold Prediction No. 3

The Bulldogs will put so much emphasis on Jameson Williams, they will frequently leave other Crimson Tide receivers open. Slade Bolden, Ja’Corey Brooks, Jahleel Billingsley, Cameron Latu and one more Tide receiver will combine for more than 20 receptions.
