National Championship Game Bold Prediction No. 4

Georgia fans are confident recovered Bulldogs’ wide receiver, George Pickens will be a game-changer. A healthy Pickens is a serious threat, but even if Pickens is 100 percent healthy, he will not be a major factor in the game. The reason why is the Crimson Tide’s cornerbacks who take him on; Kool-Aid McKinstry and Khyree Jackson will have outstanding games.

Bold Prediction No. 5

Along with Pickens, many Alabama Crimson Tide fans are quite concerned that Brock Bowers will be unstoppable. Bowers had 10 catches for 139 yards and a touchdown in the SEC Championship game. He will have success against the Crimson Tide again, but the Bulldogs will force the action to him too much, with less success. Two Bulldogs who can do damage will be Ladd McConkey and Jermaine Burton, who together have 54 catches on the season.

Bold Prediction No. 6

Stetson Bennett will have some success in the game’s first half. The Bulldogs will take a lead and could hold it throughout the half. The toll of frequent pressure on Bennett will limit him in the third quarter, as the Bulldogs bog down and the Crimson Tide takes the lead. Not long into the fourth quarter, with the Crimson Tide up two scores, Kirby Smart will panic and replace Bennett with JT Daniels. Daniels will have no success as the Crimson Tide seals the game.
