Although the 2022 signing class could add up to 32 players,

, like every other FBS program is restricted to 85 scholarship players. The deadline to reach the 85-player limit is late summer when fall camp begins.

At least until May, players will transfer out and in, subject to player decisions and roster needs.

Below is a current, unofficial 2022 Alabama Football roster. It will be updated with each future change. It designates players by their class assignments for the 2022 season. It does not include three seniors who could use their NCAA-allowed extra year to return. Those three players are LaBryan Ray, Major Tennison and Daniel Wright. Alabama football insiders do not expect any of them to opt for another Crimson Tide season.
