National Signing Day (NSD) is here and while it is not the mega recruiting day it once was, Alabama Football will finish out its 2022 class on a high note.

Going into NSD, depending on which player rating service is preferred, the Alabama Crimson Tide or the Texas A&M Aggies have the 2022, No. 1 class.

Whatever happens on NSD, the Crimson Tide has another outstanding class. Before NSD additions, Nick Saban has added 13 early enrollees and 10 more signed players who will enroll this summer.

What to expect for Alabama Football on NSD

  • Previous verbal commit, 4-Star, defensive lineman Walter Bob will not sign with the Crimson Tide. Grade issues have long been rumored but are unconfirmed.
  • 3-Star tight end, Danny Lewis will announce his decision Wednesday afternoon. Florida might still be in the hunt but it appears to be coming down to Alabama or LSU. UPDATE: Danny Lewis chose Alabama over LSU and Florida.
  • 3-Star offensive lineman, Jalen Farmer may stick with the Florida Gators, but Alabama has pushed hard late. It is not known how the Crimson Tide’s transition from Doug Marrone to Eric Wolford will impact Farmer’s decision. UPDATE: Farmer stuck with Florida commitment and some Alabama insiders believe the final decision by the Crimson Tide was to pass.
  • There can always be surprises but no other players are expected to sign with or announce a commitment to the Crimson Tide on Wednesday. It is also possible the Crimson Tide will not add any players on NSD.

Note: This post will be updated throughout NSD. Check back for the latest developments.
