No. 10 – Will Levis – Kentucky Wildcats

The former Penn State quarterback had a good season with the Wildcats in 2021. However, he will not have the electric Wan’Dale Robinson to connect with, in 2022.

Last season Levis threw only 353 passes in the Wildcats’ run-heavy offense. He completed 233 for 66 percent, 2,826 yards with 24 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. His PER was 148.3.

Levis is capable of producing yards on the ground as well.

No. 9 – Max Johnson – Texas A&M Aggies

Max Johnson is a competent QB who had to compete on a bad team last season. Leaving Baton Rouge for College Station was a good decision.

In his sophomore LSU campaign, he completed 60.3 percent of 373 passes, for 2,814 yards, 27 touchdowns and six interceptions. His PER was 144.4.

No. 8 – Myles Brennan – LSU Bengal Tigers

Max Brennan feels like the logical choice for Brian Kelly based on playing experience. Some of Kelly’s antics since he arrived in Baton Rouge challenge his use of logic, but Kelly is a good coach.

Brennan, from the 2017 class of recruits, offers maturity the other LSU quarterbacks lack. Due to injury, he played only three games last season. In that limited work, he completed 60.3 percent of 131 passes, for 1,112 yards, with 11 touchdowns and three interceptions. His PER was 154.7.
