Alabama Game Saturday: Alabama vs. LSU Line, Prediction, Odds, TV Channel & Live Stream for Basketball Game Mar. 5
By Ronald Evans
Alabama Basketball is on the road Saturday morning against the LSU Bengal Tigers. A win by the Crimson Tide would lock down an NCAA Tournament 5-seed and an SEC Tournament 5-seed as well.
The Bengal Tigers are 20-10, but just 5-9 in their last 14 games. The Crimson Tide administered one of the losses, 70-67 on Jan. 19 in Tuscaloosa. LSU is 8-9 in SEC play.
Alabama sits at 19-11 and 9-8 in SEC play, coming off a blowout loss to Texas A&M on Wednesday night.
The latest NCAA NET rankings have the Tide at No. 25. The Bengal Tigers are ranked No. 16. KenPOM has the Crimson Tide at No. 23 and LSU at No. 16.
LSU is led in scoring by Tari Eason, Darius Days and Xavier Pinson. Pinson missed the game in Tuscaloosa and coming off an injury, Days played only 12 minutes. Eason made up the slack against the Tide scoring 26 points. Eason at 6’8″ can hit from three, making 36.2% on the season. Overall the Tigers are an average three-point shooting team and they are weak at the foul line. They are second-best in the SEC at not making turnovers.
LSU plays tough defense without an abundance of fouls and they are effective guarding three-point shooters.
Alabama Crimson Tide vs. LSU: Spread, Over/Under

Alabama vs. LSU Prediction
The outcome of the game will hinge on which Alabama team plays. Another Crimson Tide performance like Wednesday night will be an easy win for LSU. ‘Good’ Alabama is more than capable of beating LSU on the road.
While it is perplexing why Nate Oats can’t get his team motivated for every game, the expectation is the Tide will fight hard enough on defense to make it a close game.
