Crimson Tide Defensive Notes
- The eight defensive linemen listed should equal the standard rotation at those positions. In some situations, the Tide might go as much as 10-deep.
- The Jeremiah Alexander selection as an immediate backup might be too soon, but at a fit 258 pounds, he is already physically ready to contribute.
- It is hard to tell in advance what will happen in the secondary, but some Alabama football insiders believe Khyree Jackson is too good to keep off the field. The same could be true for Terrion Arnold.
