Crimson Tide Defensive Notes

  • Eight defensive linemen are listed. Several can play inside or outside. The rotation will probably not go beyond eight, but others could step in if needed.
  • Keanu Koht, when cleared to practice could move into the two-deep at linebacker.
  • Nick Saban has defined Chris Braswell as a starter in the packages that include him, along with Will Anderson Jr. and Dallas Turner.
  • While it is unlikely Kristian Story and Terrion Arnold can break into the top six defensive backs this season, they will see action. After impressive springs, both are anticipated to be starters next season and they need game experience.
