Thursday night and the NFL Draft First Round followed a suspected Alabama Crimson Tide script. As anticipated Evan Neal and Jameson Williams got their first-round calls.
Friday night’s second-round started slowly for former Alabama players. The Crimson Tide got on the Friday night board, 12 picks in. Even an Auburn player (their first in the 2022 NFL draft) was chosen before the Crimson Tide’s first second-rounder, John Metchie III. Soon after Metchie was selected, Alabama Crimson Tide defensive tackle, Phidarian Mathis got on the NFL Draft marquee.
