  • Dylan Lonergan; 4-Star, No. 9, QB and No. 91 player overall. Nick Saban wants a second QB in the 2023 class. Even though Arch Manning will visit Tuscaloosa this weekend, he is not expected to ever be an ‘other’ guy. Dylan Lonergan can inherit a starting role at other SEC schools, but given his response to his recent official visit, he is interested in competing for Bill O’Brien and Nick Saban. No longer should Lonergan be considered a longshot.
  • Justin Jefferson; JUCO LB. Jefferson will move up from Pearl River Community College. After his recent camp performance, he is very much a priority target for the Crimson Tide. Jefferson and Pete Golding have developed a strong relationship. Though only 220 pounds, he is projected as an inside linebacker for the Crimson Tide. If I wanted to issue a ‘cloudy orb,’ my first would be Justin Jefferson to the Crimson Tide. I will hold off until he makes an official visit to Tuscaloosa.

In the earlier post with seven targets and predictions, I listed offensive lineman, Payton Kirkland. At this point, I am not sure the Crimson Tide will have room for Kirkland unless it misses on other OL targets.

Another guy in that earlier group of seven was Cole Adams. Cole and his mom appear to love the Crimson Tide. Mark him down as ‘lock’ to the Crimson Tide.

Note: All the player rankings in this post are from the 247Sports Composite. The Composite now includes all top four recruit ratings sources.

Next. Games to maybe miss in 2022. dark

Based on the first several days of June, it appears NIL offers by other programs, to Crimson Tide targets, are having no adverse impact on Alabama football recruiting.
