Alabama Football: Can any freshmen crack the rotation?

Alabama football brought in a wealth of pass-catching talent in the 2022 class. Four-star wide receivers Aaron Anderson, Shazz Preston, Kobe Prentice, Isaiah Bond, and Kendrick Law all share a common trait: elite speed. One or two guys from this group may be able to work into the rotation as true freshmen.

Coach Saban also brought in a trio of athletic, receiving tight ends. Elijah Brown and Danny Lewis figure to be long term projects, as Latu will shoulder most of the pass-catching duties from the tight end position in 2022 if he can remain healthy.

Amari Niblack has the athletic tools to be a difference maker. While I don’t expect to see him much as a true freshman either, he can eventually be a game changer for the Crimson Tide offense.

Alabama is loaded with pass catching talent, but it remains unknown whether the group will mesh and how long that process will take.

While it will be far from a finished product when the season kicks off, the passing game should make some strides in fall camp as the depth chart begins to sort itself out.
