Lastly, I don’t think Bryce Young will win the Heisman in 2022 simply because voters won’t allow it. It is very hard to win the award twice, as it has only been done once in history. If they are given any other option, most voters would hesitate, if not refuse, to cast a vote for Bryce.

In addition to Bryce himself winning the Heisman last season, Bama and SEC fatigue would also factor in here. Bryce Young would have to blow voters away, and possibly improve on his numbers from last year, to earn the award. I just don’t think the makeup of the 2022 team will allow that.

I would like to reiterate one more time that Bryce Young putting up Heisman numbers once again would probably mean that other facets of the team have really struggled. There is a reason why he was the first Alabama quarterback to win the award in 2021, and there is a reason why that team did not bring home a national championship.

Alabama football and Bryce Young would glady trade the stiff-arm trophy for a 19th national title, and I believe they will do so this year.
