Alabama Football is on the road for its fifth game of the 2022 season. The afternoon contest is scheduled for a kickoff a few minutes past 2:30 PM CST.

The primary TV broadcast will be on CBS. The broadcast team is Brad Nessler, Gary Danielson and Jenny Dell.

A live stream of the game will also be provided by CBS. Additionally, the game can be seen on fuboTV.

Radio coverage will be provided by the Crimson Tide Sports Network (CTSN) with Chris Stewart, John Parker Wilson and Roger Hoover. Along with the CTSN’s many radio stations, it can also be heard on Sirius/XM/SXM 81/81.

The Fayetteville weather for the game should be warm (high 70s) and sunny, with light winds.

Recent Crimson Tide injury information has focused on some players being ‘day-to-day’ and game-time decisions. Among Alabama football insiders there are expectations JoJo Earle and Jordan Battle will play and that Byron Young ‘might’ play. Freshman wide receiver Aaron Anderson may be able to return to action as well. If Byron Young is unable to play, Tide fans can expect more snaps for fast-rising freshman Jaheim Oatis.

The Crimson Tide has a 25-7 record against the Arkansas Razorbacks. Alabama is 15 wins into its longest winning streak against the Hogs, with the last Crimson Tide loss coming in Mike Shula’s final season.

Alabama Football vs. Arkansas Razorbacks Game Prediction

As of Friday night, FanDuel had the spread at Alabama minus -17.5 points, with an over/under of 61.5 points. The Moneyline is Alabama -850 and Arkansas +570.

The Arkansas Razorbacks are at home, in a must-win situation and will play in front of a frenzied crowd. Given those circumstances and because Sam Pittman always has his Hogs playing tough, physical football, the spread feels large.

A flip side hunch is this type of game is exactly what Crimson Tide players want. They get a chance to counter the ‘Tide is weak on the road’ assessment, against a worthy foe. It will be a fight and I expect the Hogs to battle until the end.

To me, Alabama is a two-touchdown better team than Arkansas – and being hungry to make a statement, I predict the Tide covers and wins by as much as three touchdowns. I’ll hedge the actual score prediction slightly.

Game Prediction: Alabama 38 – Arkansas 20
