Alabama Football Studs

Jahmyr Gibbs

Jahmyr Gibbs is a certified nuclear weapon. Running for a career-high 206 yards with two explosive 70+ yard fourth-quarter runs, Gibbs gained my respect after giving the Steph Curry “go to sleep” celebration to a raucous Arkansas crowd.

Kobe Prentice and Isiah Bond

The two speedy freshmen receivers had big chunk plays, an element missing in this year’s offense. Prentice finished with three catches for 92 yards and a touchdown. Bond caught two passes for 76 yards, including a scorching 53-yarder.

Kool-Aid McKinstry

Whenever the flashy sophomore fields a punt, I believe he is going the distance. The days of a Slade Bolden fair catch are gone. McKinstry finished the game with three returns for 77 yards, including an electrifying 45-yard return that set up Milroe’s first touchdown.

Offensive Line

The unit allowed only one sack to the nation’s leader, Drew Sanders, and opened up massive holes for a 317-yard rushing day. Center Seth McLaughlin started in place of an injured Darrian Dalcourt, and the line appeared in sync all game. Moving forward, the offensive front is key to another championship run.
