Alabama Football Duds

Penalties

During one drive in the fourth quarter, the Crimson Tide sacked KJ Jefferson to end the drive until Henry To’toto pushed a lineman in the back leading to an unsportsmanlike penalty allowing the Arkansas offense to remain on the field. Next, Kool-Aid McKinstry did not appear ready, and the receiver beat him on the play. Of course, he received a pass interference call. Lastly, Dallas Turner grabbed Jefferson’s face mask near the goal line leading to another 15-yard penalty. Forty-five yards of penalties on one drive.

Drops

Wide receivers made some great plays, but there were still a significant number of drops by Brooks, Holden, and Latu.

After years of great receivers making plays, the current bunch has been pretty inconsistent. Hopefully, they will continue to grow and play better.
