Saturday will be breakfast in T-Town as Alabama Football gets an early start in its next-to-last home game of the season. The 8-2, Crimson Tide will face the 7-3, ASUN, Austin Peay Governors.

The SEC Network has the game, with its broadcast team of Mike Morgan, Dave Steckel and Lauren Sisler. The game will be streamed on the ESPN App and on fuboTV.

Radio coverage will be provided by the Crimson Tide Sports Network (CTSN) with Chris Stewart, John Parker Wilson, Christian Miller and Roger Hoover. Along with the CTSN’s many radio stations, it can also be heard on Sirius/XM/SXM 81/81.

The 11:00 AM CST game is expected to kick off at 11:05 PM CST.

The two teams have never met and the game will also be the first time the Crimson Tide has played an ASUN conference opponent.

No betting odds are available, but most predictions from national media platforms have the Alabama Crimson Tide winning by a margin of six to seven touchdowns.

The Tuscaloosa weather at kickoff is expected to be mostly cloudy and 49 degrees, with a light wind.

Alabama football fans will want to keep an eye out for Austin Peay, backup defensive back, Tra Stover. Stover’s father Nikita is a former Alabama Crimson Tide player.

Final Alabama Football Game Prediction

Austin Peay, at 7-3, is not a bad FCS team. The Governors scored 27 points on Western Kentucky in an early season game. Later in the season, the Hilltoppers allowed only 17 points against MTSU and UAB. Against Western Kentucky on Saturday, Auburn may be pressed to score as many points as Austin Peay did.

It will be a pick-the-score game for the Alabama Crimson Tide, at least somewhat determined by how deep Nick Saban goes into the Alabama football bench. Crimson Tide backups should see first-half action, along with almost all of the second half.

A few days ago, I suggested Saban should sit Bryce Young on Saturday. Young will play, but in the second quarter, he should give way to Jalen Milroe and later to Ty Simpson. The Governors have some talent in their secondary and seeing Milroe and Simpson work against them might make the game more interesting.

In a broad-stroke guess, I’ll go with Alabama 48 – Austin Peay 6
