The Transfer Portal closed for new entries on Wednesday night at midnight. There were no last-minute additions from Alabama football players.

The Portal remains open for all players who have entered but have not yet found a new school. It will open again for new entries during a two-week period in May. As before the Portal was created, graduates can transfer at any time.

At this point, 14 scholarship, Alabama football players have entered the Transfer Portal this cycle. Nick Saban has added only one player through the Transfer Portal. He is tight end CJ Dippre, who transferred from Maryland.

Alabama Football Transfer Portal Exits with new teams

Though it is rare, players can enter the Transfer Portal, change their minds and return to their school. That happened with Jaylen Moody in the last transfer cycle.

  • Braylen Ingraham – Redshirt Junior Defensive Lineman transferred from the Crimson Tide to Syracuse
  •  Trey Sanders – Redshirt Junior Running Back transferred to the TCU Horned Frogs
  • Tanner Bowles – Redshirt Senior Offensive Lineman transferred to the Kentucky Wildcats
  • JoJo Earle – Sophomore Wide Receiver transferred to the TCU Horned Frogs
  • Tommy Brockermeyer – Redshirt Freshman Offensive Lineman transferred to the TCU Horned Frogs
  • Christian Leary – Sophomore Wide Receiver and Running Back transferred to the Georgia Tech Yellowjackets, after initially announcing a transfer to Central Florida
  • Javion Cohen – Junior Offensive Lineman transferred to the Miami Hurricanes
  • Traeshon Holden – Junior Wide Receiver transferred to the Oregon Ducks

  • Damieon George – Junior Offensive Lineman transferred to the Florida Gators
  • Khyree Jackson – Junior Defensive Back transferred to the Oregon Ducks

Among the 12 former Alabama football players who have found new teams, Javion Cohen is the one with the most starting experience. JoJo Earle, Traeshon Holden, Damieon George and Khyree Jackson also earned some starts for the Crimson Tide.

Many Alabama fans think the biggest loss to the Alabama roster is receiver, Aaron Anderson.

  • Tyler Harrell – Redshirt Junior Wide Receiver
  • Demouy Kennedy – Junior Linebacker

Harrell saw little action in his one season in Tuscaloosa. Kennedy was a key special teams player.

There will be more transfer exits for the Crimson Tide. It is also expected that Nick Saban will add two to four transfer additions for key roles.
