Greatest Alabama football undrafted player No. 7: Levi Wallace

Cornerback
Buffalo Bills: 2018-2021
Pittsburgh Steelers: 2022

Levi Wallace started his Alabama football career as a walk-on. That he eventually earned a scholarship and then earned his way onto an NFL shows that the defensive back has never let the odds get in the way of him giving it his all. The Tide defensive back rose to prominence during his senior season when he served as a starting cornerback during its national title run in 2017. That year, Wallace led the team with 15 pass breakups while recording three interceptions, including one which he returned for a touchdown. He added in 48 tackles and 2.5 sacks into his impressive numbers.

Despite that performance, Wallace wasn’t selected in the 2018 NFL draft but eventually signed with the Buffalo Bills.  After signing, he went on to have four productive seasons where he started 52 games. He continued to be an effective defense back in a number of different ways, combining four interceptions and 20 pass deflections with 161 tackles.

In 2022, he moved to the Pittsburgh Steelers, and while he only started nine of the 15 games he played in, he also logged a career-high in interceptions in a season with four.
