Greatest Alabama football undrafted player No. 6: Tony Brown

Cornerback
Green Bay Packers: 2018-2019
Cincinnati Bengals: 2020
Indianapolis Colts: 2022

Tony Brown is one of those guys that seemed to show just a little bit more to Alabama football fans the longer he was in Tuscaloosa. In his freshman season, the defensive back got in just five games, but by the time it rolled around to his senior season, Brown was playing in all 13 games and showing a lot of good play in the Crimson Tide secondary.

Undrafted in 2018, he signed a free agent deal with the Green Bay Packers and managed to get into 11 games in his rookie season and start three contests. It was more of the same in his second year in the NFL, as he appeared in nine games. However, Green Bay decided to move and signed with the Cincinnati Bengals just ahead of the 2020 season.

He appeared in 13 games with the Bengals and got one start. While his numbers were far from eye-popping, he showed that he definitely belonged in the league.

It always strikes me as especially impressive when a guy like Brown is able to keep hooking on with new teams. In 2022, he landed on the Indianapolis Colts and played in all 17 games. It stands to reason the Colts will also give him another look in the 2023 season.
