Follow the Alabama Crimson Tide in the NFL with new gear
The Alabama Crimson Tide had three players selected in the first round of the NFL Draft on Thursday night. Now you can follow their careers on Sundays with new gear.
Bryce Young was selected No. 1 overall by the Carolina Panthers after a stellar career under Nick Saban. Young went 23-4 in two years as Bama’s starting quarterback, accounting for 87 touchdowns and just 12 interceptions. He won the Heisman Trophy in 2021 and was ranked the No. 1 high school prospect by 24/7Sports before committing to Alabama.
Will Anderson Jr. was taken by the Houston Texans at No. 3 overall, after the team traded up to get him. Anderson Jr. is a two-time Nagurski Trophy winner – just the second player to ever do so. He finished his Alabama Crimson Tide career second in program history in both sacks (34.5) and tackles for loss (62). He is a two-time first team All-American, two-time SEC Defensive Player of the Year and finished fifth in the Heisman voting in 2021.
Jahmyr Gibbs – in a bit of a surprise – went No. 12 to the Detroit Lions. Gibbs spent just one season in Tuscaloosa, but he made a tremendous impact. After two explosive seasons at Georgia Tech, Gibbs ran for 926 yards and seven touchdowns, adding 444 receiving yards and three touchdowns through the air. In fact, he was just one of two FBS players to tally 900+ rushing and 400+ receiving yards last year.
Even though these guys won’t be playing in crimson and white on Saturdays anymore, that doesn’t mean you have to stop cheering for them.
And you can’t really cheer for them without some new gear. (Note that all numbers will be accurate when product is printed and shipped).
