Alabama Football Defensive Linemen
- Eric Curry (1990-1992) – Curry was one of the Tide’s 1992 National Championship bookends at defensive end. He is No. 5 all-time in Alabama career sacks and No. 4 in quarterback hurries. He was a Consensus All-America in 1992 and finished 9th in the voting for the Heisman Award.
- John Copeland (1991-1992) – The other ‘bookend’ opposite Curry was also an All-America in 1992. Copeland is No. 4 all-time for single-season tackles for a loss. He is tied with Curry at No. 6 in single-season sacks.
- Robert Stewart (1987-1991) – Stewart was a 1991 All-America at nose tackle. Stewart had 144 tackles and 10 sacks in a Crimson Tide career that began at running back, then linebacker, before moving to the defensive line.
- Jeremy Nunley (1990-1993) – Though less heralded than some of his defensive line teammates, Nunley was an important component of the Tide defense. He was chosen All-SEC in 1993.
- Shannon Brown (1992-1995) – Another consistently solid performer for the Crimson Tide as a three-year starter. In 1995, Brown was All-SEC and second-team All-America. He also earned Academic All-America honors.
