LSU and Arkansas are set with two talented and experienced quarterbacks. KJ Jefferson had a higher Quarterback Rating last season than Bryce Young and was No. 2 in the SEC after Hendon Hooker. Jayden Daniels was No. 2 in the SEC passing accuracy 68.6%. As long as they stay healthy, the pair should again be around the top in SEC QB stats.
Will Rogers has the most impressive career resume of all the SEC quarterbacks. In three Mississippi State seasons, Rogers has passed for almost 10,700 yards. His career completion stat is 70.7%. The only doubt with Rogers is he will be working in a new offense rather than Mike Leach’s Air Raid. Rogers should have another big season, but the transition could have some rocky moments for the Bulldogs’ offense.
Lane Kiffin is yet to name a starter, but returning starter, Jaxson Dart will likely win the job again. Kiffin has a QB-friendly offense and the Rebels might have the best running back in the SEC in Quinshon Judkins to take pressure off Dart. Conner Weigman takes the lead role in College Station without much playing experience. However, he and the Aggies have nowhere to go but up and it is reasonable to believe if Jimbo leaves Bobby Petrino alone, the Aggies will be improved on offense.
