Reaction of Alabama Football Fans
Alabama fans should be pleased with a No. 3 ranking in both of the main polls. Some extra warm and fuzzy comes from the Crimson Tide remaining No. 1 in the latest ESPN FPI. The Crimson Tide is also ranked No. 1 based on Jeff Sagarin’s computer algorithm.
Polls are great fun and worthwhile barometers to measure teams. They just don’t matter much so early in the season.
