Week Four Saturday Afternoon

Multi-screen viewers can choose the Alabama game and other games to watch at the same time. The Tide vs. the Rebels contest will have my full attention.

  • Colorado at Oregon – Can a former Auburn quarterback quiet the Deion Sanders and Colorado mania? It will not be a shock for this game to have more viewers than Alabama vs. Ole Miss.
  • UCLA at Utah – What will be a yawn for most of the country, two (practically) former Pac-12 teams should have a good game. The TV viewing on this one will be a dud.
  • UTSA at Tennessee – The Vols’ rep has plummeted after Josh Heupel’s team got kicked around by the Florida Gators. Tennessee should get an easy win, but it won’t make the Vols well.
  • New Mexico at UMass – There are two reasons why this game might be considered a novelty. One is to see how much bad football can be played in one game. The other is the insanity for either of these teams to travel across the country to play any game.
