Alabama Football: Current AP and Coaches Polls still not loving Bama

According to the current Coaches Poll, Alabama Football is the SEC’s second-best team. The problem is the Coaches Poll does not have much respect for the SEC. After the Crimson Tide win over the Aggies, Alabama remained at No. 10 in the latest Coaches Poll. The nine teams above the Alabama Crimson Tide are all undefeated, but that does not mean all of them are better than the Crimson Tide.

The Georgia Bulldogs, held on to No. 1 in the poll. The No. 2 and No. 3 positions were also unchanged with  Michigan and Ohio State still following Georgia.

The Florida State Seminoles moved up one slot to No. 4. Oklahoma, Louisville, UCLA, and Kansas all made big upward moves. The biggest dives came from Texas and Notre Dame.

The SEC stayed at seven teams in the latest Coaches Top 25, but only three were inside the top 13 teams. The Alabama Crimson Tide should have been ranked at No. 9. Instead that spot is held by USC. The Trojans beat Arizona in triple overtime. Arizona lost to Mississippi State earlier in the season. Many Coaches Poll voters must not have watched the late game between the Trojans and the Wildcats.  The Trojans are glaringly bad at everything, except at quarterback.
