Javion Cohen – Junior – Guard Miami

The most shocking departure of the offseason for the Alabama football team was when 2-year starter Javion Cohen announced he was entering the transfer portal. Cohen appeared in 31 games for the Crimson Tide over his three years at Alabama. Cohen ended up transferring to the University of Miami where he’s been an instant starter for the Hurricanes. With issues with Alabama’s offensive line this season there is no doubt Cohen would’ve had a great opportunity to retain his starting role or receive significant playing time. Cohen could’ve been an important piece along the Alabama offensive line as well as important in the development of younger offensive linemen like Kadyn Proctor.
