Trey Sanders – Redshirt Junior – Running Back TCU

The transfer of Trey Sanders made sense when it was announced, as Alabama was bringing back multiple running backs while also bringing in two highly touted recruits at running back. Sanders dealt with terrible luck while at Alabama suffering multiple season-ending injuries. Sanders went on to transfer to TCU along with teammates Jojo Earle and Tommy Brockermeyer. Through 8 games Sanders has rushed for 173 yards and 4 touchdowns as the number two running back to talented Junior Emani Bailey.

Alabama bringing back Jase McClellan, Roydell Williams, and Jam Miller with the additions of Justice Haynes and Richard Young would’ve made it very hard to find carries for Trey Sanders. At TCU Sanders has been able to get touches behind a talented back in Emani Bailey.
