Demouy Kennedy – Junior – Linebacker Colorado

An Alabama native Kennedy was ranked the top player in the state of Alabama and the 35th ranked player in the Nation. Demouy Kennedy was mostly a special teams player in his time at Alabama winning special teams’ player of the week 6 times while at Alabama. There would’ve been a great opportunity for Kennedy to earn playing time this season as new Alabama defensive coordinator Kevin Steele recruited him heavily to Auburn during Steele’s time at Auburn. With the departures of Henry To’oTo’o and Jaylen Moody, there is a very strong chance Kennedy would have received playing time at ILB but opted to transfer to Colorado. So far at Colorado Kennedy struggled to catch on for the first few weeks but has started seeing increased playing time.
