When historical context is taken into account, Alabama Football fans wake up every Thanksgiving with more to be thankful for than any other college football fanbase in the country.

After all, the Crimson Tide is still under the tutelage of Nick Saban, the greatest coach in the history of the sport who has led the Tide to an unprecedented run of dominance and success. Before Saban, the legendary Bear Bryant captained the greatest dynasty of the 60’s and 70’s.

Even as Bama slept-walked through many of the years between the Bear and the Goat, Gene Stallings assembled the most dominant defense in the history of the sport en route to leading Alabama Football to the 1992 national championship.

All things considered, the overall success and longevity of the program cannot be matched by any other. It has no equal, and it has no peer. In the modern age of the sport, Alabama Football exists in a stratosphere of its own.

Alabama fans also have plenty to be thankful for regarding the current state of the program. Bama hasn’t won a national championship since 2020, but looks to put that drought to an end this season. This team is peaking at the right time, and will have every opportunity to get Saban his seventh ring in Tuscaloosa.

Here are the top five things Alabama Football fans should be thankful for this Thanksgiving.
