After an eventful weekend that headlined the Alabama Football team winning the Iron Bowl over Auburn 27-24, there are bigger picture results and news coming from this weekend. Around the country, chaos didn’t ensue as Alabama Football fans would’ve hoped as teams like Washington and Florida State edged out their rivals while Oregon and Texas handled their opponents with relative ease.

On the horizon is a potential playoff-deciding matchup with Georgia in the SEC Championship. While the focus for the team will be the Georgia Bulldogs for fans around the program there’s a lot to digest before Saturday’s big game.

The next item on the horizon is the College Football Playoff rankings. The Alabama Football team won but the win was not impressive to say the least which will potentially affect the voters. While the Crimson tide may not move up there could be some action ahead of them that will affect potential outcomes for the championship weekend.

Alabama Football: Season comes down to this

Everything this season will all come down to this weekend’s matchup against Georgia. Avenging losses against LSU and Tennessee was certainly nice. Flipping the script and having an Alabama Miracle in Jordan Hare will live forever. Will Reichard will most likely make history by becoming college football’s leading scorer against Georgia. However, all the great moments and memories will be for not if the season is spoiled with a loss to Georgia in Atlanta. The loss will certainly end the Alabama Football season while allowing Bulldogs fans another year of bragging rights. The game is the type of game that players play the game for, coaches get into the job for, and the reason fans come back every season to watch football. With all that’s on the horizon next weekend let’s look at some of the bigger picture events of this weekend.
