Alabama Football received positive news on the recruiting trail this morning as four-star tight end Caleb Odom announced he is closing his recruitment and signing with Alabama. The tight end plans on signing on December 20th’s early signing day joining Alabama Football for its Rose Bowl prep. Odom committed to the Alabama Football Program on July 15th but, continued to visit and talk with other schools as late as this past weekend.
Alabama Football had to beat out Lane Kiffin and the Rebels as they made a strong push to flip Odom with Kiffin even attending Odom’s game this weekend. Auburn was also in the mix for the Georgia native as Odom visited Auburn in October. Tight end coach and recruiter Joe Cox played a huge role in bringing Odom to Alabama.
Odom is an exciting prospect for the Alabama Football Team, at 6″5 215 pounds Odom has an excellent frame for a tight end at the college level. Odom flashes athleticism, speed, and natural skills that can see him blossom into a true playmaker for the Alabama Football team.
Alabama Football: Heavy news cycle ahead of Early Signing Day
As December 20th’s early signing day approaches there will be plenty of news and commitments for the Alabama Football team to follow. The first piece of news to follow regards 2025 4th-ranked prospect Ryan Williams a wide receiver. Williams announced that he’s making a big announcement in about six days from now. Many expect this announcement could be that he’s reclassifying to the class of 2024 while some suspect he may be flipping his commitment potentially to Auburn. Adding Williams to the fourth-ranked class Alabama has now could be massive for the future and he could compete for playing time with departures from the Wide Receiver room coming down the line. The team is currently on the recruiting path with Coach Wolford visiting OL target Favour Edwin with a visit planned for OL Commit Casey Poe.
