Ohio State Buckeyes

One of the biggest schools with transfer portal issues is shocking in Ohio State. The Buckeyes finished the season 11-1 losing its only game to the Michigan Wolverines. This is what made it shocking when ten players entered the portal this morning leaving Ohio State. The key transfers are Kyle McCord and Julian Fleming both players started for the Buckeyes this season. The reasoning by McCord and Fleming doesn’t make a lot of sense unless they were told to leave or are leaving for NIL. McCord went 11-1 in his only season as a starter while Fleming caught 79 passes for 963 yards and seven touchdowns over four seasons.

Fleming could be a target for the Alabama Football team if they lose receivers like Jermaine Burton to the draft or a transfer that decides to leave the Tide.

Texas A&M Aggies

The school that’s contributing the most talent to the transfer portal is Texas A&M. Many of the top-tier recruits that Jimbo Fisher brought in via his controversial No. 1 recruiting class are entering the portal. Some of those names feature former No. 1 recruit Walter Nolen and former five-star wide receiver Evan Stewart. The story took a twist when Stewart said the following about why everyone’s leaving A&M:

"I saw it coming freshman year when I didn’t get a paid a dollar from A&M but “slice bread” had y’all thinking we were millionaires."

If the chase for Stewart’s services comes down to a bidding war then the Crimson Tide may not be the place for him to go. Nick Saban addressed players wanting to be paid saying he rejected players wanting large sums of money and one of the players asking for his girlfriend to be accepted into law school.

Nolen will be a player the Alabama Football team pursues heavily. The Alabama Football team will likely have to replace its top two edge rushers as Dallas Turner and Chris Braswell will likely depart for the NFL Draft.

As the portal continues to build up there will certainly be more players that become potential targets for the Alabama Football team as Crimson Tide players will determine their fate once the season comes to an end.

Next. No Quarterback needed from the portal. dark
