Alabama Football: Key NFL Draft Decisions and projections
Malachi Moore (departing)
Malachi Moore has enjoyed an excellent senior year as the vocal leader of the Alabama secondary. His versatility and physicality in the slot make him one of the anchors of the Bama defense, which hasn’t missed a beat after losing Brian Branch to the NFL.
Moore has had a productive four-year career in Tuscaloosa. While his return would be massive for the 2024 Alabama secondary, I expect him to declare for the draft.
Terrion Arnold (departing)
Terrion Arnold has developed into a lockdown corner for the Crimson Tide opposite Kool-Aid McKinstry. Arnold has arguably been the most improved player on a roster full of dramatically improved players.
The redshirt sophomore has posted 61 tackles and 6.5 tackles for loss, showing excellent run support from his corner position. He has also notched an SEC-leading five interceptions and ranks second in the league with 11 pass breakups.
Bama fans will hold out hope that Arnold returns for one more year, but there is very little reason for him to do so.
