The college football season is here. The week zero appetizer has been consumed, and the main course is finally here.
Before the season starts, it's time to make some predictions. We think Kalen DeBoer and Alabama are going to win the SEC - yes, we're homers, but we're far from the only people who are coming around to the idea of Kalen DeBoer's Crimson Tide being a legitimate contender for the National Championship.
Something special feels like it's brewing in Tuscaloosa. There are legitimate question marks, but most of them can be answered if Ty Simpson can perform at a high level.
No more burying the ledge - let's get to predicting:

Alabama's one loss comes on the road against South Carolina. Texas's one loss comes on the road against Georgia. Kirby Smart's Bulldogs finish tied for third in the SEC standings, but are not among the four teams that make the College Football Playoff from the SEC. Instead, they get passed over by Florida, which wins the head-to-head matchup. A loss to rival Georgia Tech to finish the regular season knocks the Bulldogs out of the playoff.
Notre Dame RB Jeremiyah Love wins the Heisman Trophy.
