Nate Oats and Alabama basketball landed its third four-star commitment of the 2025 class with 4-star SG Davion Hannah committing to the Crimson Tide on Friday night. Hannah chose Alabama over Missouri, Ohio State, and Cincinnati.

Hannah joins a class that already features 4-star SF - and fellow Wisconsin native - Amari Allen as well as 4-star forward London Jemison.

All three of Alabama's commitments are Top-75 players in the 247 composite rankings, but Hannah is currently the highest-ranked commitment ranking as the No. 33 player per the composite.

Hannah, originally from Milwaukee, transferred to Link Academy in Missouri for his senior season of high school basketball.

The scouting report on Hannah is that he is a combo guard and an exceptional athlete. He's comfortable getting downhill and attacking the rim but will need to become more consistent as a shooter. This will be the right system for him to develop his shot.

Assistant coach Preston Murphy deserves a lot of credit once again for helping Alabama land Hannah. Alabama was looked at as the leader for a while, but in recent months that had flipped toward Missouri.

The Crimson Tide is likely going to flip a huge portion of its roster this season. There are five graduate seniors who will exhaust their eligibility, as well as potentially three one-and-done freshmen, and a couple of sophomores who could make the leap to the NBA as well.

Oats recently made the decision to redshirt both Houston Mallette and Naas Cunningham so both figure to factor into next year's roster barring a transfer. Hannah is Alabama's third commitment bringing them to a roster of five for next season as things stand right now.

Alabama will still be active in the high school ranks and remains a top contender for the No. 1 player in the country A.J. Dybantsa.
