  • No. 13 - Mississippi State Bulldogs (3-0) - Last week, No. 13 - The Bulldogs pasted Alcorn State 63-0, but gained no bump from the win over the worst SEC opponent in Week 3.
  • No. 12 - Arkansas Razorbacks (2-1) - Last week, No. 14 - The Hogs gave Ole Miss a scare in Oxford, losing 41-35. The Hogs produced 526 yards of offense, but missed two field goals and lost a fumble, allowing Ole Miss to escape with the win.
  • No. 11 - Auburn Tigers (3-0) - Last week, No. 10 - The Tigers got a 31-15 home win over South Alabama. Auburn did enough not to slip a spot in the rankings, but other teams performed better in Week 3 and displaced them.
  • No. 10 - Missouri Tigers (3-0) - Last week, No. 9 - Missouri thrashed Louisiana 52-10. The one spot drop in the rankings comes from the Tigers having the SEC's weakest SOS, at No. 92 among all FBS teams.
  • No. 9 - Vanderbilt Commodores (3-0) - Last week, No. 11 - After a big road win over South Carolina, the Dores are earning respectability. When they face the Alabama Crimson Tide in October, Vandy will be a 5-0 team.
