Here are the things making the news for the Alabama Crimson Tide:

Alabama baseball moves to 4-0, routs Middle Tennessee

The Alabama baseball team moved to 4-0 on the season with a 12-2 shellacking of Middle Tennessee on Tuesday.

Wallace State CC transfer JT Blackwood made the first start of his Alabama career on Tuesday night. He threw four good innings, giving up just one run on three hits, walking one, and striking out three.

Justin Lebron and Will Hodo both hit their first homers of the season. Lebron went 2-for-5 on the day and drove in three runs, continuing his torrid start to his sophomore season in Tuscaloosa. The Crimson Tide will face Alabama State on Wednesday before heading to Jacksonville, Florida this weekend for the Jacksonville Classic. It will feature games against Coastal Carolina, Ohio State, and NC State.

Alabama softball gets a needed win in Huntsville

Alabama softball has not had the start to the season Patrick Murphy hoped for. The Crimson Tide came into Tuesday night's matchup with Jacksonville State in Huntsville at just 5-5 overall.

Alabama fell behind 2-0 early but scored seven unanswered runs on the way to a 7-4 win over the Gamecocks. Home runs by Alexis Pupillo and Kali Heivilin paced the win for the Crimson Tide.

Softball now gears up for the Easton Bama Bash starting on Friday with a doubleheader against Virginia Tech and Southern Utah. The Tide then plays a double-header against Drake on Saturday and finishes out the weekend with a second game against Virginia Tech on Sunday.

2024 Alabama football documentary debuts on Wednesday

A six-part docuseries about the 2024 Alabama football team called "The Tides that Bind" will debut on FOX Nation on Wednesday night.

There will be plenty of interest in this docuseries as there will be behind the scenes access from the aftermath of the stunning retirement of Nick Saban and the first season of Alabama football under Kalen DeBoer.

Most Crimson Tide fans probably have little interest in reliving the 2024 season, but getting a behind-the-scenes look at DeBoer and the new regime will outweigh the bad feelings toward the season as a whole and make this an intriguing watch.
