News and notes for Alabama Crimson Tide athletics from Tuesday, April 9th:
Que Robinson's NFL Draft stock is on the rise
Que Robinson suffered an injury in Alabama's win over LSU in November and missed the remainder of the season. In nine games, the oft-injured edge rusher racked up four sacks. He was in the midst of a breakout senior season after spending most of his Alabama career playing behind the likes of Will Anderson and Dallas Turner.
His draft stock seemed uncertain, but he has evidently seen a lot of upward movement in the last few months just a couple of weeks before the draft takes place in Green Bay:
Sources: Alabama edge rusher Que Robinson visited the #Lions yesterday, is visiting the #Panthers today, and has upcoming visits with the #Falcons and #Chiefs.

According to Jordan Schultz, Robinson is trending toward being a day two selection in the draft, meaning he would ultimately be selected in the 2nd or 3rd round.
Nick Saban nominated for an Emmy
Nick Saban dominated college football during the 17 years he was the head coach at Alabama. In the year since he retired, he's become one of the best analysts on TV, working for ESPN as part of their College GameDay show. He'll also be one of the main analysts for the NFL Draft later this month.
On Tuesday, Saban was nominated for an Emmy in the category of Outstanding Personality/Emerging On-Air Talent. He was nominated alongside Ryan Fitzpatrick, Jason Kelce, Richard Sherman, and Jay Wright.

Alabama baseball rallies to beat Southern Miss
Alabama baseball remained undefeated on mid-week games this season by rallying to beat Southern Miss 10-6 on Tuesday night in Tuscaloosa.
The Crimson Tide dug themselves into an early hole and found themselves trailing Southern Miss 4-0 after three innings. In the 4th, Garrett Staton cut the lead in half with a two-run homerun. In the 6th, Alabama pushed across six runs to take the lead for good.
Bryce Fowler was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to cut the deficit to one run. Then, Brady Neal hit a double down the third-base line that cleared the bases and put the Crimson Tide up 6-4. Richie Bonomolo Jr. added some insurance with a two-run homer to put Alabama up four.
After the Golden Eagles cut the lead to 8-6, Alabama got some insurance in the 8th inning thanks to a solo homerun by Peyton Steele and RBI base-hit by Kade Snell.
Alabama will host Mississippi State this weekend in a series the Tide needs to win to bounce back from last weekend's series loss to Auburn on the Plains.
