Kalen DeBoer and Alabama football are on a roll on the recruiting trail. They've set up 20+ official visits for the summer and are in contention for some of the nation's top prospects in the 2026 recruiting class.
Alabama landed a commitment from 4-star IOL Chris Booker on Thursday, their second pledge of the 2026 class. On Friday, the Crimson Tide learned it was among the final six contenders for one of the most coveted prospects in the 2026 recruiting class.
5-star WR Cederian Morgan, the No. 2 player in the state of Alabama and the No. 2 WR in the country per the 247 composite rankings, released a list of his final six schools via Hayes Fawcett. Along with Alabama, Morgan is still considering Auburn, Colorado, Clemson, Florida, and Georgia.

Morgan plays high school football for Benjamin Russell in Alexander City. Morgan had a monster junior season last year, catching 70 passes for 1162 yards and 14 touchdowns.
DeBoer and Alabama are looking for a bounce-back with in-state recruiting in the 2026 cycle. Alabama signed just two players from the state in 2025 and neither of them were among the Top-10 players in the composite rankings.
Morgan is one of the team's top targets. Along with edge rusher Anthony Jones, Alabama is in position to potentially land the top two players in the state of Alabama in the 2026 cycle.
Alabama landing Ryan Williams in the 2024 cycle could be good news for its chances with Morgan. Williams had a prominent role for DeBoer and company as a true freshman as the team's leading receiver and featured offensive playmaker.
The 5-star WR will undoubtedly be keeping an eye on what Alabama's offense looks like with new offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb in the fold.
Morgan visited Alabama earlier this month for the Crimson Tide's Junior Day. He will return to Tuscaloosa for an official visit this summer.
