The hunt is on for the Alabama football team and head coach Kalen DeBoer to land their quarterback commit for the 2026 class. Matter of fact, it's been a bit of a slow start for the '26 haul as a whole, as only cornerback Zyan Gibson is on board.

However, DeBoer was busy on the recruiting trail on Wednesday night sending out new offers to signal-callers. The list was highlighted by 5-star playmaker Keisean Henderson, who is currently committed to the University of Houston.

Alabama and Kalen DeBoer have offered 5-star QB Keisean Henderson

Henderson has been committed to Houston since May and he has said that he's locked in with the Cougars. However, the elite prospect has also seen his recruitment explode, with several new offers being put on the table.

The 6-3, 185-pounder is now up to 35 offers, with Alabama, North Carolina, Florida State, Georgia, Auburn and others putting recent scholarships in front of him. He was downright brilliant at the Navy All-American Bowl, which opened the door for more programs to get involved with his recruitment.

Henderson will be taking an official visit to Houston in June, but other schools are working overtime to get him on campus for one as well. Nothing has been planned yet with Alabama, as his tender is quite new. However, look for DeBoer to try and get something finalized with him sooner rather than later.

4-star New Jersey QB Derek Zammit also received an offer from Alabama

Henderson isn't the only quarterback for Alabama fans to keep a close eye on moving forward - add 4-star signal-caller Derek Zammit to your list. Also on Wednesday night, the New Jersey product announced on social media that he too picked up a Crimson Tide offer.

According to the 247Sports Composite, Zammit is ranked four stars, the No. 22 quarterback in the country and the No. 4 prospect from the Garden State. He holds 22 offers, but Alabama is the latest program to enter the race to land his services. Similar to Henderson, look for DeBoer to try and get Zammit to Tuscaloosa for a visit in the near future.
