It's not exactly a revelation that Alabama senior offensive guard Jaeden Roberts is freakishly strong. He's built like the Incredible Hulk and is probably No. 1 on the list of "first off the bus" players for the Crimson Tide.

Roberts has been doing incredible things in the weight room since he arrived in Tuscaloosa. Recently, he evidently set an Alabama record. His mom shared the news on her X account:

It's no surprise that Roberts' mom tagged D.J. Fluker, a former Crimson Tide offensive tackle who probably had the record before Roberts. Fluker went on to be a first-round pick in the NFL Draft, something Roberts no doubt hopes to replicate.

Roberts is a key returning part of Alabama's offensive line

One of the key reasons some project the Crimson Tide to have one of the top offensive lines in the country is the return of a healthy Jaedan Roberts. He's one of three returning starters up front, joined by C Parker Brailsford and LT Kadyn Proctor.

Roberts was a revelation in the 2023 season when he was inserted into the starting lineup. His performance was up-and-down last season, but he battled through injuries for the entire season. His return to full strength should buoy the Tide's ability to establish a legitimate traditional running game this season.

Roberts is a mauler in the run game and has All-American potential. He could also be one of the top guards taken in the 2026 NFL Draft if he has a consistent, healthy final season in Tuscaloosa.

A healthy and consistent Roberts will help on the right side of the Tide's offensive line as redshirt sophomore Wilkin Formby takes over as a full-time starter. Formby struggled early in the 2024 season as the starter at right tackle before he was ultimately replaced. With Elijah Pritchett transferring, the right tackle job is all Formby's now.

Roberts will be a key player for Alabama's hopes of getting back to the standard and getting back to the College Football Playoff in 2025.
